Hey guys, I have such a busy schedule between school and work, so one of my favorite things to invent is quick and easy snacks. One of my favorites is oatmeal. I am still working on finding a brand of gluten-free rolled oats that I really like, but for now I have been using Bob's Red Mill. This snack is super filling and could almost be a meal in itself, so half the recipe if you are just looking for a little snack or eating because you are bored, which I am a victim of! I love food!
Here's what you need:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
- about 3 shakes of cinnamon
- chopped up fruit (I like apple, dates, and blueberries)
- chopped up nuts (I usually don't put nuts in mine, but if you love nuts, I'd try walnuts or even almonds)
